Sigma Psi Zeta ended 2016 with a host of service activities in support of the local community.
On Wednesday, December 21, 2016, the chapter brought Christmas cheer to the residents of the Larkin Chase Center in Bowie, Maryland.
Chapter members and friends delivered cards handmade by the chapter’s adopted schools to each room in the facility, bringing holiday greeting to those who may not be able to go home during the season.
Sigma Psi Zeta followed this up with a Christmas Eve outreach activity in the District of Columbia. On December 24, chapter members ventured to Franklin Park to conduct what has become an annual service activity. Sigma Psi Zeta joined Widow’s Pantry, a local non-profit, in serving the city’s homeless population.
